A GLIMPSE OF MEMORIES IN CANADA

Just found some photo in my old phone , it has been 5 years.. lets take a tour of reminiscing old trip back then in 2016.

This trip was a trip that arranged by travel agent, so the schedule might be pretty tight.

DAY 01 : ARRIVING VANCOUVER By CI32 ETA 1845

Long flight has arrived, eventually, tried to stretch my whole body before rushing to arriving hall and heading to restaurant.

First stop and well super late dinner will be my first destination, had dinner in Richmond Area, the closest area from Vancouver airport, Chinese restaurant, quite good and authentic and big space, suitable for groups.

Long land journey heading to Kelowna, 5.5 hours or more, it was quite a long ride. But well, the scenery was beyond imagination. I was stunted by the massive of pine trees along the way which made me forget what ‘feel bored’ means.
Dropped by in Lake Okanagan where monster watchers claimed sightings of Ogopogo, ‘a lake monster’  or to simply illustrated it, let say it ‘kinda look like a water dragon’. Some people believed to see it and captured it in some videos, do you believe it? Me , yess I do, the sea is vast, nothing is impossible.

When you come to visit Okanagan, don’t ever forget to visit Okanagan Wineries, the best wine tasting in town. Grab your ice wine here with around $100.

Transfer to Vernon city, small and kinda quite city for resting. Had a pleasant experience to enjoy Vernon Atrium Hotel, quite enjoy and unique hotel

Travelling during the pandemic.

Almost one and half year I don’t do travel, and this time i’m so glad to be able to visit Bali for vacation.

This time I decided to stay longer in Ubud. I stayed in The Pari Sudha , which is located in Ubud (Desa Petulu, Ubud). I didn’t expect that I will enjoy this time so much. In my daily routine, I live in bustling city of Jakarta, where work and life feel so busy and hard. As I have a chance to back to nature, feel relax, I found my self drown in this calmness.
