Travelling during the pandemic.
Almost one and half year I don’t do travel, and this time i’m so glad to be able to visit Bali for vacation.
This time I decided to stay longer in Ubud. I stayed in The Pari Sudha , which is located in Ubud (Desa Petulu, Ubud). I didn’t expect that I will enjoy this time so much. In my daily routine, I live in bustling city of Jakarta, where work and life feel so busy and hard. As I have a chance to back to nature, feel relax, I found my self drown in this calmness.
At the beginning, I just randomly pick a hotel which affordable and look so relax in a booking hotel platform, suddenly this hotel popped up and I just press the booking button directly without any long consideration.
This hotel is located on the way to tegalalang from city center of ubud. I stayed for 5 nights in Room with Pool Access (got it only around IDR 250.000/nights) and hoped to be able enjoy ubud life.
People here were so nice, the place where i stay gave me lot of unexpected experience. I got a warmest welcome when I arrived, the staff were super nice, the room was so cozy, and what I like most was the toiletries, they use Sensatia products! Sensatia is a Bali beauty care brand, which is so good.
This hotel is a kinda new, was operate in the end of 2019, some part of the hotel is still under construction of expanding, they are building the new restaurant, spa and swimming pool.
To be honest, nothing u can see nearby the hotel. Just do nothing, yah do nothing is something in here. Do nothing and find your peace. You can just take a walk/ride a bike (this hotel provided free bike) and feel the breeze of the wind from the Petulu village.
Take a walk to the north direction from hotel and u will find lot of rice terrace, Pura, local people doing some craft, and some coffee shop. Go a little bit more north and u will find KULO Coffee Shop, a place to that worth to stop by and grab a coffee while enjoying the view in the second floor.
Try to communicate with the local, with the hotel’s staff, they all were super duper nice.
I played a football together with them around 5pm untill sunset. Beside the football field, there’s also a volleyball field.
In the next morning, you can asked the staff to take you to the Pura Taman Beji Petulu to do Melukat. Melukat is a spiritual cleansing ceremony of the mind and soul. It is located super close from the hotel. Just need to walkdown the stairs. Be careful of the steep stairs huh.
This place is perfect for someone who wants escape from the business life, wants to find a peace and calmness.
Thanks for Pari Sudha Team for helping me to enjoy ubud. Thanks to Boges, Juju, Pak Nyoman, Pak Kadek, Pak Eka, Aris, etc
Hope to see them again later after the pandemic and after the hotel expanding done.
