What is Rung Reung?
Rung Reung noodle shop is a famous fishball noodle not only among the local but also foreigners. If you are a fan of noodles or soup dishes, you will be a fan of this Rung Rueng.
How to get here?
It is located only 5 minutes walk from Phrom Phong BTS Station. In this trip, due to I travel with my fam, which I was a group of 3 people at that time, so we decided to use Grab car from BTS Siam to Rung Reung Noodle Shop, it costs me THB145.
When you get here, you will see 2 Rung Rueng Shop next to each other, the blue shop and the red shop. My Thai friend said Rung Rueng is a family business who runs by a pair of brothers, due to some certain issues, they had gone separated ways but still doing business under the same Rung Rueng name.
My Thai friend more to the blue shop, not because of the color issue or the location, but because she likes the taste better. Well, when it comes to taste, each people might have a different opinion. But she’s Thai, so I believe her HAHA.
From the outside, you may see the red shop is bigger than the blue one, but when u come into the blue shop, they have a spacious space behind, which I think it’s bigger than the next shop.
Time to order foood, she told me what is her most fav one, so well, I just let her ordered the same one for me, once again, she’s Thai, she’s the boss. HAHA. We ordered Tom Yum without soup, it costs THB 50. It preferable depends whether you like dry or soup. For me, I more to dry noodles. You can also choose the type of noodle you like, big noodle, medium, smallest, egg noodle, glass noodle, and short noodle. For a fish skin fan, they have it only for THB20 as your side dish. You can just eat it or dip it in the soup.
It is AROY MAK MAK (so delicious) for me, I even finished my second bowl, my Thai friend told me she will get 3 bowls usually, amazing boss…
